"Reflection..," Third Grading Period

Everybody is so happy for the full of pressure third quarter is over. After that long Christmas vacation, we rushed our lessons just to cope up with the topics involved in the Third Periodical Test.Lots of quizzes and projects is to be passed in order to complete the requirements for this grading period.
After that full of pressure exam, I feel free, so free..! At last, my hardships were all done! There, I began making flashbacks of my third grading period story. Of all our ten subjects, T.L.E. has the most memorable experiences. For me, it is the most interesting of all those subjects we had. It's true that I, together with my friend often asking for excuse to go out for us to go to the comfort room or else, buy some snacks. While doing our assigned activities, we enjoy chewing. After all, we say "goodbye" to our lovely teacher and go to our last period which is MAPEH. I became nervous during our P.T. because I didn't review any of our lessons we took. But thanks God, I still got a good score during the checking..,:-)
There, I learned that reviewing the past lessons isn't necessary to get high score but it's the listening and understanding that matters during the lessons.

"Essence of Christmas"

Christmas Day is an annual holiday celebrated on December 25 that commemorates the birth of Jesus. For me, Christmas is a celebration, which includes spending time with my family, decorating the entire house, and shopping for the people I love. Doing this with the people I love is what means the most to me.
Spending time with our own family is the most important. During this time, we can express our thoughts and feelings to them. We usually exchange gifts, and have dinner in one long table. It's really a great pleasure to have this day because this is the day to express more the love we want to share to the others.
It's also fun decorating the entire house with Christmas tree, cute lanterns, unique belen and other Christmas decors. I enjoy putting these things together with my whole family.
Giving our own gifts to the one we love is very much exciting. We are trying our best to have our own budget for us to be able to buy something interesting. Even though we bought that very cheap thing, it means a lot. So, let us just not be choosy about the gifts we are receiving. Learn to be contented.
Imagine if Christmas doesn't exist. Do you think we can still achieve our happiness? Well, for me, we can still. Because anytime, we can be happy as Christmas Day as long as we want to.

"Pagpapatibay ng Pagkataong Pilipino: Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon"

As we all know, every month of November, there's a celebration that we used to give importance which is the All Souls' Day and All Saints' Days. With this celebration, we goes to the cemetery to visit our relatives who were gone and make some candle lighting. Month of November is also important to everyone not just because of this but also on this month, we are celebrating the so-called "Values Month". This year, the Values launched the theme, "Pagpapatibay ng Pagkataong Pilipino: Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon".
Filipinos have different behaviors. And as we all know, we have good moral traits which prove that Filipinos are very nice. With the theme, I can say that all these past days of the year 2009, there were so many tragedies that made the people worried about. But let us all think that each of us experiences difficulties at all times. And let's just consider these tragedies as a challenge for everybody. Challenges which are the reasons for us to strengthen ourselves with our good morals and attitudes.
As to give happiness to the Values Month, the club held different activities inside the campus. "Sayawit, Cookfest, and Kite flying" are some of these. Students are expected o learn good attitudes from the said activities.

Every great accomplishments have its own simple beginnings. Plant becomes a tall tree because of the water, sunlight, and air as well; we get well because of medicines; baby grows well because of the parents' care; and students learn because of teachers teach them. Yes. Everything comes from anything which can help them succeed in the world. And that reason for whatever result that you might get should be remembered and we should also give importance to them. Ever since the world welcomes me, I had already experienced having the so-called "teacher" and that is my mother. She was the one who first thought me how to crawl, sit, talk, and what so ever. And because of that, that person will always be in my heart and she will never be erased in me. But now, I have my own true teacher. The one who teaches us student to become an educational and professional someday in the future. They say that "WITHOUT TEACHER, THERE WILL BE NO NURSES, DOCTORS, ENGINEERS, AND OTHER PROFESSIONAL WORKERS IN THE WORLD"...Absolutely its true. Without teachers, nobody is going to teach us about the lessons we are applying for the different courses we want to get. Its really hard to understand a new topic without a teacher. We can't get the right idea of that lesson without a teacher. Same with a big fire. That fire will not die without the help of a large amount of water. Think of it. That's why we need the so-called hero of our life. A hero who can help us be successful in the future. Every teacher is our hero. They help us understand everything. That's why we should always respect them and give importance for they are the reasons why a somebody is getting where he want to go and want to be someday. Inspire them to teach us well and you will see their real color in teaching us well and good..!

Can you still recall the history of Science? Those simple inventions scientists made? Those theories and principles they made for us to understand more the world of Science.
At the beginning, there's a lot of simple inventions and discoveries came out. Until such time that there were more great inventions and discoveries scientists are making. Science is just like the theory of evolution. It is done by the so-called process. it all starts with a very small and simple things until it improves and becomes more unique and amazing. Just like what we have now. We have so many transportation, communications, and lots of technologies that could really make us feel more comfortable and helps us to do our work faster and easier.
As time goes on, the population of scientist is increasing and thus, the number of those discoveries are also increasing.

♦☻SAY YES TO FILIPINO LANGUAGE"☻♦

Each of us has his/her own language. Spanish in Spain, English for the Americans, Chinese in China, Italian for Italy, and Tagalog for the Filipinos. We all know that each of the country should have its own language for good communications.
We, Filipinos have their own language. And I believe that through this, we can express our ideas and communicate well with each other. Philippines has lots of towns and cities with their different languages. Although, we should always remember that Filipino is our National language, thus, we should use it most of the time for us to learn and give importance to it.
